I've always been a huge fan of a polka-dotted piece. The combo of the polka dots, halter neckline and drop waistline give this romper a very 1950's swimsuit look- in the best way possible. 

Drop waistline silhouettes are on the rise this summer, and this is the first I've dabbled with it. It's much more flattering than I was anticipating! As a short-torso gal, I wasn't sure if it'd work on me- but the halter strap makes it easy to adjust for your proportions. And aren't the bow details on the ruched skirt so sweet? 

I styled it here with my buggy sunglasses, Kate Spade strawberry-adorned raffia bag and Sam Edelman pearl sandals. If I really wanted to lean into the '50s look, I'd opt for some white Keds!
