Lemon Print Dress from Petal & Pup

I'm a sucker for a fruit print. I very vividly remember the piece that sparked this love for me- it was a lemon printed romper I picked up from Francesca's in high school. It was blue with the bright lemons allover and finished with ruffle-hem shorts and a bow at the back. I wore it to death. It's still hanging in a closet at my mother's house, because I can't get myself to part with it.  

While that romper is a bit small and not quite my style anymore- my love of a fruit print persists! I couldn't resist this pretty lemon adorned mini dress from Petal & Pup. This one feels elevated with it's more muted, almost tile-inspired print. It's classic a-line silhouette with the cinched, smocked waistband and swingy skirt just feels so fun too. And, it's topped with a bow! Instant summer staple in my book.

​I paired it with some pink raffia platforms to bring out the tiny pops of pink florals in the dress, my Kate Spade raffia bag, and topped things off with a Grace & Grandeau hair bow in the most perfect lemon yellow shade.
