Quince 100% Cotton Smocked Midi Dress

A familiar smocked style, from a new brand! This smocked, flutter sleeve midi dress was gifted to me by Quince. Quince is all about making high quality wardrobe staples at a lower price by selling DTC, direct to consumer. So we are skipping a few steps in the supply chain (sourcing agents, warehousing, wholesaling, distribution, storefront retail) and selling right to us through their website.  

I have a few silk blouses from Quince in my wardrobe already, but this is my first dress! And it didn't dissapoint. Since this isn't sponsored- I'll compare it to my beloved Nap Dress from Hill House Home.

We have a very similar smocked bodice, flutter sleeves, and midi skirt. This Quince style doesn't have pockets, and runs true to size. The cotton is a crisp, lightweight poplin and is unlined. Do I still favor the original Nap Dress? Absolutely. But if you're looking for a solid, lower-cost option? This is a fabulous choice!
