Cute Puppy Essentials

Hello there!

If you know me, you know I am a very proud dog mom. My little Piper is a miniature dapple dachshund, and she is sunshine shaped like a dog. I have grown up in a house with dogs, but I never actually was in charge of a puppy; sorry Mom! So the puppy thing was pretty new to me from a care standpoint, as well as what I would actually end up needing. And if you know me, I couldn't get just any kennel or any leash for my precious sweet baby puppy: it needed to be cute, and preferably pink. It took me a while, but I think found the cutest puppy supples the internet has to offer. Luckily for you, I've decided to share my findings! So here is a master list of my cute puppy essentials! Because your sweet baby angle deserves it. These are all actually things I have purchased, and are Piper & Emily approved. For a direct link to the product, just click on the picture. Okay, shall we?
A Pink Kennel

I couldn't put my precious bundle of joy in an ugly, black kennel. I mean, look at her face- she needed a pink kennel. It's her color! This one has served its purpose well, and don't worry the pink doesn't chip off!

I mean it is the obvious choice for a pink kennel, right? Piper didn't manage to rip it up as a puppy, and its machine washable so no worries about accidents!

Strawberry Print Blankies

A variety pack of little soft blanies for my soft little puppy? With strawberries on them? Yes please! Piper actually does love these, she drags them around my room to make herself somewhere soft and cute to sit. (That'm my girl!)

A Bundle of Fruit Toys

These are by no means the only toys I bought for her, but they were a suggested item with the strawberry blankets. I was like yes Amazon; I would like dog toys shaped like fruit with cute faces on them! These turned out being great because they were small enough for my 3 pound puppy to actually pick up and enjoy, and they have held up against ferocious puppy teeth.

Kong Teething Toy

I found these to be great for kennel training. Just shove their favorite treat inside, and it distracts them while you leave! It will also keep them busy for a while, which is great for their kennel! Miss Piper loves hers, and better yet it comes in pink so it matches her kennel.

I had to find a little name tag for my little puppy, and did you know they make some with bows on them? Etsy has a bunch if you search "cute dog tag", but this is the one I went with. I linked the shop above, they have lots of options! I couldn't find a link to her collar, but we found it at Walmart!

Pink Flexi Leash

I initially was looking at cute, printed, fabric leashes- but my mom made me be practical and get a nice leash. I'm glad she did! Super high quality, easy to hold, and at least the handle is pink!

Of course you'll need other little things like puppy pads, treats, and a lot more toys- but I just though I'd share my cutest and (somewhat) practical finds! Do you have a dog? What's it favorite toy? I am always in the mood to treat my little four-legged princess!
'til next time,
Emily B
