Florals for October

It's funny to think about when I lived in Texas, I was yearning for fall fashion once September rolled around. I'd be so excited to pull out my chunky knits, jeans, and booties to have a little 'Christian girl autumn' revival. Now that I'm in Minnesota where it actually starts feeling like fall in September, I'm pushing dress season into October. 

This is another dreamy dress from Ivy City Co! I have to give it to them, they know how to make a dress with some twirl to it! I may have been twirling so much in it taking these pictures that I fell into the pergola & plants, but I couldn't help myself. I also took these at a local public park where people happened to have been having a wedding but at least I wasn't under-dressed? 

I styled it for fall with some white booties, and I would add a denim jacket on a chillier fall day. But I didn't want to cover up any of the detailing on it! The fabric has a bit more weight to it, making it a great dress to take into fall. 

I paired it with my favorite little mauve bag from Kate Spade, and this slim headband by Lele Sadoughi for a little sparkle!
