   Hello there! Long time, no blog! It's always hard to shoot bright, feminine looks in the snow & cold here in Minnesota. But I hunted down a spot where the ground was free of snow so I could share this stunning little outfit. Flossy by Freddy is a brand by one of my long-time favorite blogger/Youtuber/influencer follows, Freddy My Love. I've been following her since probably 2015 for chic, ultra-feminine style inspiration based in the UK. Flossy launched in the summer of 2022, and after lusting after them from afar I've finally added a couple of her designs to my closet!   This pretty little number is the Cindy Dress & the coordinating Cindy Cape. They're made of a super soft cream tweed with a gold thread going through it, which just feels so special when you have it on. The dress has the loveliest structure with a scooped neckline, structured box pleats, and princess seams & a subtle dropped waist chic give the nicest shape. The cape has fluttery bell sleeves & a darling Peter Pan collar, and has to be the sweetest piece of outerwear I've ever seen!
Flossy by Freddy is all about statement pieces that are meant to be worn, and the renaissance of unapologetically feminine style in the face of modern casual- and I have to say this set does just that. This set makes any day a special occasion, and just makes me smile! I styled it here with a bow blouse from Red Dress Boutique, satin ballet flats from Urban Outfitters, a Kate Spade heart-shaped bag, and a pearl-embellished bow from Target! This outfit may have debatably been a bit much for a day working from home in the grey of a midwestern winter, but that is sort of the point of being a Flossy girl.
