Flowing Dresses & Folklore

Ever since Taylor Swift's surprise drop of folklore on July 24th, all I have wanted to do is dance around in flowing prairie dresses, in bare feet, around my loving room. This lyrical masterpiece written over quarantine is simply breathtaking. Swift's lyrics have always been what I loved about her music; and this venture into musical storytelling, lyrical folklore, is something that I am so captivated by. Also I cannot lie, I was obsessed with that white dress from the cardigan music video. I am a fashion girl at heart, what can I say?
That video made me pull this pretty little dress from ChicWish out of my closet, for dancing around my living room. It is somewhere between soft and romantic, while also having sort of whimsical and cottage-in-the-forest vibes. Now all I am missing is that wood cabin/mystical forrest magic piano. I love the tiers of lace, the bell sleeves, and embroidered details that go from the neckline to the hem of this dress. It really does feel so special to twirl in it! I like to imagine this is how Taylor Swift would want us to be listening to this album- right?
I went ahead and linked some more very folklore-esque dresses from ChicWish, because they have lots to choose from! Anyone else in love with this album? I cannot play favorites, but I do love the trio of songs that make up the teenage love triangle: Cardigan, August, and Betty. What are your initial favorites?
