'Horse Girl Fall' by Hill House Home

Hello there!
It's me, the weird token horse girl from everyone's elementary school. I may not have actually been the one in your class, but I know you had one. My girlish horse obsession that manifested itself in checking out horse breed encyclopedias from the library and 'trotting' around the playground eventually turned into horseback riding, which led to my parents buying me my own horse, and now a lifelong love for the animal and my big guy, Blue.

So you can imagine my unbridled excitement (see what I did there?) when Hill House teased their fall collection here with the horse emoji, and later unveiled this horse-printed dress here announcing it's gonna be 'Horse Girl Fall'. Of course I had to snag this dress when it dropped! It felt like part of my duty as a token horse girl. It didn't hurt that the dress was super cute, either. 

Since I'm don't typically gravitate towards neutrals, I wanted to make this outfit feel a little more 'me' by styling it with pops of red to pull from the red in the print. I grabbed for my Amazon Mary Janes, and an archival Kate Spade bag I've had in my closet since high school. I almost grabbed a red hair bow, but decided this black matte satin one from Grace and Grandeur was a chic-er option!
