Hydrangeas have always been one of my favorite flowers. I remember the large, fluffy bunches of flowers that grew alongside one of my childhood homes in the summer and their sweet smell as I'd play outside with friends. It was so eexciting the years when they'd come in pinks and blues, because my mom would add soil of different acidities. So when I saw this print from Hill House's summer collection, I knew I had to pick up something in it.
Since I have several classic nap dresses, I decided to switch things up with this new style! This is called the Dottie, and she's just as fun as the name would suggest! The triangle-style top adorned with ruffles is just so fun for summer!
I styled it with some espadrille wedges & a raffia handbag to play up the summery look, and topped things off with a blue satin bow to match the flowers.
