Okay, the holiday season is officially over. As my favorite time of the year, I am always so sad to see it go. So I try to fill that empty space in my heart with Valentines Day. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I like Valentines Day. Even all the years I was single, I loved Valentines Day. I love all of the pink, the roses, hearts, and frilly things that come along with Valentines Day. And second to Christmas, it is one of my favorite fashion days of the year. I can wear all of the pink and red I want, with minimal side-eyed looks!
I wanted to show you guys a second way to style this velvet, metallic midi skirt from ChicWish. It is just so gorgeous, and I know a lot of you picked it up so I wanted to show you a more casual way to style it! I paired it with this black and white bauble sweater, which has to be the softest thing in my wardrobe to date. Madewell wasn't kidding when they said it is made out of the "coziest yarn"- and it is nearly 50% off now! I opted for some black heeled booties, to match the black baubles on the sweater and to give the outfit an overall chic look. My earrings are the cutest little bows, which add another feminine touch to the look. I paired it all with this mauve-pink longline teddy coat I picked up from ChicWish as well. It is soft, cozy, and such a steal! I have loved this teddy coat trend that has been huge this season, and I fell in love with the color and silhouette of this one. This outfit doesn't scream Valentine's Day, but it is pink & feminine enough that it would be perfect for the occasion!
Do you love Valentines Day, or am I alone in this...? You have to at least love the Target dollar section this time of year, right? Let me know!
til next time,
