Ever since I started doing my makeup when I was about 14, I was always looking for the best mascara. Something to make my lashes super long, thick, and dark but without being clumpy or spidery. You know that chunky lash look; not cute! I dabbled in just about every mascara the drugstore had to offer, then started going to Ulta and Sephora searching for I don't even know what. I found some really good mascaras, but none of them could give me the fluttery, false-lash look I was hoping for. I didn't have the patience to put false eyelashes on every morning, and lash extensions were out of my budget. Something did eventually come along and give me the lashes I had wanted for years, and that was Rodan + Fields LashBoost. LashBoost is a conditioning serum that contains biotin, keratin, and peptides. This clear serum that you swipe onto your lash-line once a day before bed conditions, nourishes, and strengthens your natural lashes. Over time if gives you longer looking, fuller looking, and darker looking lashes that are all yours! Which is, exactly what I wanted. It isn't as quick as throwing on a strip lash, or making an appointment for lash extensions- but the long term benefits and results are so worth it! I started seeing results after about a 12 weeks! They weren't the lashes I have now after using it religiously for almost 3 years, but they were definitely looking longer and fuller than before! After about 6 months is when the results were in full swing, and I started having people ask me where I got my lashes done. It is always so funny to say, "In my own bathroom!" and to watch people's initial reaction before explaining. As you can see in my before and after above; my lashes are almost hitting my eyebrows now with one coat of mascara, they look so much fuller, and not a clump in sight! 14 year old Em, we finally made it. So all you have to do is put a small amount of the serum on your lash line at night, and live your life as per usual and wait for it to start working it's magic! It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, just be careful not to apply way too much and you should be fine!
