It is officially fall, and the first day of October! When I think of fall, I think of October. The rich colored leaves rustling as they waltz across the pavement, pumpkin spice lattes, snickerdoodles in the oven, and Halloween movie marathons. The weather starts to cool ever so slightly here in the south, and you can feel a slight chill in the breeze. The colors of fall that come to my mind are reds, burgundy, golden yellow, toasted orange, and rich browns.
This year I want to make an effort to step outside of my usual color palate, and inject some green into my fall wardrobe, along with my signature pink. This cardigan from Wooden Ships is the prettiest shade of green- it is muted, but still somehow crisp. It is light enough to wear now, but will make the perfect layering piece later on. I have gushed about my love for Wooden Ships as a brand here, and they are a company that is doing good when the world needs it the most. I paired this cutest olive cardi with my satin, lace-trimmed cami, my favorite dark wash skinny jeans, my peep-toe booties, and a floppy hat to round out all the fall feels. I feel like I need to go apple picking, or go for a hayride in this little outfit!
Mauve-pink and green may be my new fall go-to; what do you think? Let me know!
til next time,
