Hello there!
This is the only orange I have in my closet. Not because I've never been drawn to the color, by I went to Texas A&M for college and our rival school's color is burnt orange. So over the years, I've sort of trained myself to steer clear of the color. Silly? Very. So I decided to break my little rule for this fun frock by Victoria Dunn. I've followed Vitoria Dunn Designs for a few years now, and have always loved her colorful designs inspired by the southern charm of Charleston, South Carolina. Her designs are adorned with colorful block-prints, and they all make such a fun statement. So when she reached out to work together I was honored, and so excited to add some of her pieces to my closet. This is the 'Folly Flounce' dress in the print Juniper Sunset, which was part of her retro collection. The florals do have that sort of groovy 70's flare to it. I love the full, twirly skirt, puff sleeves, and of course the exaggerated bow-tie waist detail. I styled it with my go-to white sneakers, a retro-inspired top handle bag, and a hair scarf you can't see in these pictures (go going, Emily). Emily
