Hello there!
Believe it or not, I used to hate red and pink together. I felt like it clashed, and all together did not belong together. Oh, how our own opinions can change! A pink dress with a red lip & handbag has become one of my favorite looks to rock, and pink and red comes together in my wardrobe in oh so many ways. I thought if there was ever a time to really showcase a red & pink look, it was Valentine's Day! I adore this pink, heart bauble knit sweater I picked up from ChicWish several months ago, specifically with Valenine's Day in mind. I mean, have you ever seen such a V-Day appropriate top? I haven't! In addition to the thick, chunky, fun knit I fell in love with the bright pink color. It just makes for the perfect transitional sweater into spring during this time where we are all yearning for spring fashion, but it is still just a little too cold. I paired it with this bright red, corduroy skirt I picked up from Old Navy. I love the color, and how the corduroy adds even more texture to the look. I opted for some black, dotted tights because it is still chilly out, and some black booties to go with them. Topped it all off with my pink Chanel earrings ( you can shop them here), and my Kate Spade Mini Margaux bag. This outfit is just so feminine, flirty and sweet; while still being warm and cozy. How do you feel about styling pink and red together? Yay or nay? til next time, Emily
