   I love a red, green, metallic holiday look. I have been known to dress up like a Christmas tree in the name of holiday spirit. And as fun as that is, I have come to realize how much I adore styling pink for the festive season. Which I suppose makes sense- it's my favorite color, so having an excuse to throw in some glitter and put on red lipstick obviously sounds like a great idea! When I saw this ruffled, tiered tulle skirt from Red Dress Boutique instantly made me think of think of this look Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific blog fame posted back in 2018. This look has made it onto so many style inspiration boards on Pinterest I've made over the years, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to re-create the look in my own way!    I paired the skirt with a blushed satin pussybow blouse, with the most fabulous pink plaid flannel wrap coat layered over my shoulders. The coat makes this look feel practical for winter and the holidays, don't you think? Well, about as practical as it gets for me with holiday dressing. I accessorized this up with this fun pink velvet bow headband, my Kate Spade present purse, and some gold metallic platforms with frilly socks to add a touch of 2023 trendiness!
You can imagine I got some looks walking through grey of downtown Minneapolis in November. The thing I love so much about this outfit is just how fun it is! I couldn't stop giggling to myself as I was twirling in front of my tripod, in front of a very grey wall that I photoshopped pink. And isn't that what holiday style should be all about?
