Yes, I know we are still in the hottest part of summer. But seeing all of the pretty autumnal florals and light knits starting to pop up in stores is getting me giddy for dropping temperatures. Living in Minnesota has re-ignited my love for fall, as it is truly the most stunning part of the year here. You know, before the traditional mid-October snow storm. Actually, is that a great excuse to start wearing some fall floral dresses while I have the chance in summer...?
This maxi skirt has those trendy retro-inspired florals that are going to be everywhere this fall, in these prettiest blushed neutrals. I mean, how could I pass it up? It is from Red Dress Boutique, who always have the prettiest dresses & skirts year round! Here I styled it with a sage green bodysuit to pick up some of those colors in the skirt, white booties, and my $10 Walmart denim jacket. When fall actually arrives in MN, I'll swap the knotted headband for a hat, and the tank bodysuit for a long sleeve, or mock neck top.
Was I sweating taking these pictures? Absolutely. But I have been wearing it with the bodysuit and sandals, and loving it just as much!
