I have a thing for fruit printed dresses. There is something just so adorably quirky & cute about them that just makes me so happy when I wear them. So when I saw this print from Rachel Parcell's summer collection, I fell in love. And when I sw she had made it into a flouncy, ruffled dress? How was I supposed to resist!
Most obviously, I adore the print. It is the sweetest watercolored print of strawberries and petite floral clusters. It is so precious, and I love that the print is more spread out over the light pink fabric- so it is super cute, but also subtle. The layered ruffled sleeves are so darling, complete with piped lace detailing. It adds such a sweet extra flutter to the dress! The piped lace adorns the sweetheart neckline, as well as at the tier in the skirt. It looks very much like Zimmerman's lace detailing, but at a much more affordable price point. This dress is fully lined, yet still nice and airy for summer. I had so much fun twirling around in it for these pictures!
I paired this sweetest dress with my faux-pearl purse that is also from Rachel Parcell, but I snagged it on sale from NordstromRack. It also comes in a pink pearl option, which is equally adorable! I threw on my favorite pair of dainty white heels that I picked up from Lauren Conrad's line at Kohls years ago, but I have linked some similar pairs! I could see myself dressing this dress up for a wedding, or down with some sneakers for more of a casual look. The ruffled sleeves arent stiff either, so it looks cute with a denim jacket too.
Rachel Parcell also brought out a mini version of this dress for anyone with a little girl out there, and in a ladies midi skirt! I think this is just the sweetest little print for summer. Are you loving fruity prints? Let me know!
