You know the 'cerulean blue' monologue from The Devil Wears Prada? Well, we have seen that sort of color trend trickle down from the runway to our own closets with this shade of pink! And I have to say I am very happy about this shade of pink popping up just about everywhere.
Quick summary of the shade! This pink was created by Valentino in collaboration with Pierpalolo Piccioli and Pantone for the designer's Fall/Winter '22 collection. It has been named 'Valentino Pink PP' or 224C. While I'm not a designer girl, I do love looking at runway looks. The pictures from this show last spring were just so fun! Everyone and everything was this shade of pink, and I was hoping it would trickle down & make its way into my closet.
This dress is from Rachel Parcell's summer collection, who is a blogger I have been following for nearly a decade. When they reached out to see if I wanted a dress, I was so excited to see this shade of pink! The color, ruffled, and twirl to it makes it very much an Emily dress.
I styled it with a scalloped belt I got from RP's collection a few years ago, and some LC Lauren Conrad heels I've had since high school. Topped it off with my basket bag, and this fun headband by Lele Sadoughi. Everything is linked above, or similar dupes for my older pieces.
