You know how I say I love dressing up like a vintage Laura Ashley bedsheet? I adore a sort of unique, niche floral that stands out from the rest of my closet. So I was delighted when Leah from Plane Clothing reached out!
Plante Clothing was started by Leah and Becky Plante, and with a name like that they simply had to get into florals, right? All of their pieces are produced in small batches in New York's garment district out of natural, organic, or dead-stock fabric. And they produce exclusively in small batches, to minimize waste! Their pieces are high quality, you can feel good wearing them, and something you won't find anywhere else.
This pretty little midi dress is their Rosie dress, in their limited Bouquet Floral run. I love the light, airy cotton & midi length. this is the perfect throw on & go dress for this summer. I've been pairing it with some white sneakers, and a basket bag. I dressed it up here with some heeled mules, and a very practical bouquet of flowers. As the weather cools off into fall it will be darling with a denim jacket, and some ankle booties.
This next dress is the Aster dress in Groovy Floral. This one is perfect for those summer days that are just too hot for anything else. I'm heading home to Texas in a few weeks to visit family, and this is definitely coming with me. It is sort of an elevated t-shirt dress with the smocked bust, bow details, and puff sleeves. Styled it here with some platform sneakers, and a hair scarf to dress it up.
