White Lace Dress After Labor Day

Hello there!
I am always shocked when people still adhere to the whole 'no white after Labor Day' thing. As a Stitch Fix stylist, I was reminded of the rule actually while styling, and having people not so happy receiving white pieces close to this imaginary deadline. Sure, it is close to the end of summertime- but I wear light colors all year round! I guess it has more to do with your personal style, but I wanted to share how I will be wearing white after Labor Day. 

This white maxi dress is from ChicWish, and is so pretty with the dainty floral appliqué detailing. Of course this would be stunning with some sandals at the beach, or paired with heels for a bridal event- but I wanted to style it more for fall to prove a point. I paired it with my favorite white booties, and my favorite wide-brimmed had to add another little autumnal touch. I'd finish the look with a little brown, or blush leather clutch bag! I'm not going to lie, I forgot my bag when I was taking these pictures, and didn't have the energy to turn around & go home to grab it. So let's just imagine, okay? 

As the temperatures drop, this would be cute paired with a denim jacket over the shoulders. If you're chic, you could even try them with some knee-high boots for a chic, Parisian-styled look. So, where are my fellow 'white-after-Labor Day' rebels?
