Hello there! If you haven't caught on yet, I am a girl who loves bright, happy colors. I feel the most confident rocking a bright red lip and a hot pink frock. In fact, most of my closet is bold colors and prints. However, I know not everyone likes making such bold choices all of the time, or they are not looking to go out and buy a bunch of bright, colorful clothing to embrace the hotter months. So I wanted to share a couple of things you could add to any basic outfit that will add the perfect pop of color for spring and summer! For a link, click on the photo! Okay, shall we? Silk Scarves These are perfect, because you can wear them in so many different ways. As a headband, around a bun, in your ponytail, around your neck, on your wrist, or even tied to the handle of a purse! I found these on Amazon, they're on prime, they come in over 35 colors, and they're less than $10! These are a quick and easy way to spice up any outfit for the warmer months. A Bright Nail Polish I love to treat myself to a new polish at the start or every season! I have been loving this color, "Model Citizen" from Essie! Sweet Sneakers I love to wear a fun pair of sneakers with a basic outfit to give it a totally different feel! I love Keds, and these Keds x Rifle Paper Co. ones could not be more perfect for spring and summer with their sweet floral print and vibrant colors! Pair them with your favorite tee and jeans and you're good to go! A Pretty Pop of Lipstick I love a bright red lip year round & I shared my very favorite here, but I know red lipstick isn't everyone's cup of tea! So, I decided to share this sweet, flattering pink one! It's only $8, and a new lipstick is an easy way to give your makeup routine a refresh! A Pair of Fun, Funky Earrings I have been seeing this style of earring everywhere lately! I think they're adorable, but hadn't bought a pair until now. This is the pair I went for, super adorable and affordable! I love the hot pink color! They'll be so fun to wear with a white tee and denim to spice up such a simple look. And the best part is you can get these for 15% off with the code "spring15"! How do you refresh your wardrobe for the warmer months? Let me know!
'til next time, Emily B
